Now that Hopey-Dopey and his crew are in place, it's time to begin the unrepentant and unrelenting bashing of his administration. The liberals and left wing loons out there are howling -- their only claim to fame -- about "giving him a chance". I'm going to give him less a chance than the sewer rats on the left gave George W. Bush.

There is a groundswell among the idiotic left -- trumpeted by the equally moronic media -- that "all is well in America". Electing a pandering socialist and racist hardly fixes anything, but for the emotionally motivated dolts comprising the Democrat Party, I guess that means those that have proven unwilling or incapable of earning a seat at the table of legitimate America expect their bills to be paid by the government (that means you and I). The end of responsibility or accountability, these morons believe. Boys and girls, we're in for one hell of a ride.

I didn't bother watching the inaugeration. My digestive tract gets enough abuse from enjoying a wide range of Texas' culinary delights. But, in the aftermath of this "coronation", I couldn't help but notice the massive piles of trash and debris left behind by those "fawing dolts". Disgusting and typical of liberals. Of course, had this been a Republican event, the mainstream media would have run five days of coverage of the "desecration" of our nation's capitol. I am constantly amazed at the hypocrisy of liberals, but hardly upset about it. Legitimate Americans knew a huge crowd would do considerable damage -- ignoring many laws or social protocols -- just to say they "were there when the Messiah was sworn in". Let's not even get into the millions of dollars wasted to clean up after these morons, nor should we spend more than five seconds discussing the number of private jets clogging D.C. metro airports (utilized by the liberal elite demanding to be seen and heard at this "historic event"). This is the party of environmental responsibility and devotion to keeping things "clean and green", right? Not a peep from Hopey-Dopey on the costs, impact, or even the visual images of this mess.

Hopey-Dopey wants to close the detention center at Guantanomo Bay, citing the interests of US national security and foreign policy. Let's get this straight: finding a way to release enemy combatants from detention and thorough interrogation is going to serve US national security and foreign policy. Legitimate Americans should be thoroughly dismayed at the logic that motivates such thinking. Hell, when Hopey-Dopey got up in front of media to announce this ill-advised move, he didn't even know the language of the executive order (he just signed). Turns out he had to ask one of his staffers whether or not the disposition of those being released was addressed in the order (he just signed). Brilliant demonstration, boys. I'd try reading those executive orders, Hopey-Dopey. No telling what your flacks might try to slip in the next one.

We'll have lots to talk about in the days and weeks to come. We can only pray the damage done to country can be minimized until competent and experienced leadership can be returned to the national government.

Jesse Jackson sure got a raw deal. I mean here we are, much of the nation celebrating Martin Luther King Day, preparing for tomorrow's historic inauguration of America's first Black, Socialist, potentially illegal alien President. Instead of being able to celebrate the advancement of civil rights represented by the occasion, we have been reminded of what a tawdry underbelly the civil rights movement has always had. Jesse Jackson Jr. begging the Governor of Illinois for the appointment to the seat vacated by the Obamessiah. Pay for play. Airing political dirty laundry and digging up dirt from sealed records in order to ruin political opponents. Yes I was shocked, shocked I tell you, to find out that this kind of activity occurs in Illinois politics. Especially after the mainstream media assured us of their diligence in uncovering Hopey Dopey's rise to power. They left no stone unturned...

Which brings us back to Jesse "Fall Guy" Jackson. You see, ever since he smeared the blood of Martin Luther King on his sweater and breathlessly went on national TV, he has been the face of the civil rights movement. Sure, most legitimate Americans knew that Jesse weren't no preacher, that like Al Gore he had never managed to find time to graduate from divinity school. Also just like Al, Jesse became acknowledged by the lazy-stream media as an expert on something he had no education in, specifically urban renewal and small bidness. The beauty of the civil rights movement is that it has always allowed Americans to see what they wanted to see, rather than the reality staring them in the face. This factor allowed Jesse Jackson to become a rich man by race baiting and shaking down large corporations. How else does a poor guy from the Southside end up being the largest distributor of Anheuser Busch products in the area? I tellya folks, that civil rights movement sure shakes'em up.

So Jesse has effectively been retired by the stench of his own political homebase. Like any good Plantation Owner he has left plenty of heirs to the fortune however. His sons have learned well and they represent the future of Chicago politics. Advancement and accumulation of power, the same objective of every politician but carried to particular heights by socialists and communists who want the state to be the foremost arbiter of personal liberty and business success. Today we celebrate the martyrdom of Martin Luther King. B Hussein Obama's election to President was foreordained the moment we as a nation established a national holiday to commemorate King. Today the government would have us celebrate the work and achievements of a man acknowledged to be a socialist and philanderer. When we celebrate political and moral failings, we celebrate Martin Luther King and the election of 2008 that he made possible.

Tomorrow then, civil rights leaders will all celebrate, and why not. Its the ultimate shakedown. No longer will the Jackson boys and Farrakhan's Muslim Brotherhood have to bother with corporate advertising departments. Tomorrow they get to go after the big enchilada, the deeeeep pockets and supposedly bottomless well of the American taxpayer's pockets. Why? Because Mr. Jackson, Mr. Sharpton and Mr. Farrakhan would all have you beleive that in 50 years of struggle, there has been no basic change in American attitudes about race and civil rights. Despite the staggering evidence to the contrary, evidence that will be sworn in tomorrow. Of course if there is nothing to struggle for, no inequality to correct, then the movement has won and merit must replace entitlement as a means for advancement. A quick glance at the product of our urban school systems makes any rational, legitimate American understand that such a system would cripple the personal fortunes amassed by the modern day pirates we call civil rights leaders.

Where in the H, E, double walkin' sticks did December go? Well folks, I pray the Good Lord will see to it in His infinite wisdom to provide us with a Happy New Year. Given the current political make-up of Sodom-on-Potomac, it ain't likely. I do need to give a shout out to Spider Dan for taking care of bidness around these parts while I've been on sabbatical, though to be truthful, I didn't even know I was on sabbatical. Things just got busy and like Willie Nelson used to sing, "Gee ain't it funny, how time slips away..."

Speaking of time running out, the People's Republic of California is about out of time. No one, least of all any of the democrats in Sacramento really knows how much the state is in debt, most observers reckon the debt to be somewhere between 18-40 billion dollars. Sure, thats chump change to a democrat with his eye on increased taxes, but to the good citizens opening up their wallets, its another drain on already depleted finances. While I am mercifully no longer a resident of California, I do keep an eye on the sucking chest wound to the west. While Nevada deals with its financial shortfalls, California dithers. Democrats want tax and fee increases, Republicans want budget cuts. Well given the political demographics in Sacramento, we know who is going to win that battle.

You see sportsfans, as I write this, I am deeper behind enemy lines. (As much as it pains me, I must acknowledge the reality of Nevada having voted democrat in the last election, meaning of course that I am now a resident of that part of America held hostage.) No one here seems to really be addressing the problem or discussing it. It seems odd, with the State on the verge of financial collapse, that it is not a more pressing issue. Of course, when the topic does come up, everyone acknowledges the problem and earnestly nods their head at the severity of it. There does not appear to be any deeply held convictions or real understanding of the magnitude of the problem and its origins.

No, California and its residents will not learn from this crisis, not if they are bailed out by the remainder of the States as has been requested. Several governors have been requesting over a trillion, yes that was a "T", trillion federal tax dollars to assist the individual states. Whatever happened to the 10th Amendment and the States looking out for their own budgetary interests? The problem in California is plain for anyone to see and those responsible still occupy the same seats in the Capitol building in Sacramento. For at least the last ten years, the California Assembly and Senate have been dominated by Democrats. Also known as lib'ruls. That time frame encompasses boom and bust times so where was the judicious financial policy during that time? Were the elected officials planning for a rainy day or were they spending money like drunken sailors on weekend liberty in Sydney?

California voters must accept some of the blame for their State's abysmal financial condition. The democrats they have elected have constructed the budgets for at least a decade, including all sorts of wasteful spending. Now that the State is in crisis, the same "leaders" cannot find a way to rein in the spending and balance the budget without tax and fee increases. This is an excreble example of fiduciary duty. Of course the American public at large is about to witness the same thing since we have just handed over every manner of political power to the democrats. I might pray for a Happy New Year, but whenever Hopey Dopey comes up with a plan, I think I'll have one hand on my wallet.
