Breaking news this morning, Osama Bin Laden has offered a truce to Europe. This is such an obvious attempt to drive a wedge between the United States and our erstwhile allies that it just might work. I'm thinking of starting a pool to see how fast the french and Germans accept the terms. On a positive note, most of our allies with combat forces actually in Iraq seem to be standing firm against the recent violence and the now popular fad of kidnapping and murder. Oh that religion of peace....
Speaking of sedition, in case you missed the Presidential News Conference the other night, let me describe it to you. President Bush walks up to a podium with a target painted on his shirt and immediately comes under rapid, harrassing fire from the "cough...protectors of .....cough...the fourth est...cough..." the press. What a bunch of mealy mouthed, disrespectful, pampered leftists the press are. How many times and how many different ways can a question be phrased which implies that the President owes an apology to the American people due to September 11, 2001? I'll say it one more time, the person responsible for Sept. 11, 2001 is Osama Bin Laden...not...repeat NOT G.W. Bush but of course that doesn't fit in with Monsieur Querry's election plans and so the leftist media has to act like DNC trained bull terriers.
As I type this, Britain has just categorically rejected any truce with Al Querry....er Al Qaida...God Save the Queen....well at least we have one European ally we can trust...I expect that Poland and some of the other recently liberated Eastern European countries will follow suit as well. They remember the tyranny of the left and living under the tender mercies of progressive socialist and communist regimes..
