Here is another gem from Victor Davis Hanson. This man is scary smart. What I wouldn't have given to have been one of his history students. You will be stunned at the parallels between President Bush and President Lincoln in their war situations. Please read the article and think about the eerie parallels. History has a cruel way of repeating herself. Also, for those of you who don't know it, Victor Davis Hanson is no neo-con kook. He is a professor of Classics at Fresno State and just finished a tour teaching at the Naval Academy, and oh yes...he is a reasonable democrat. In other words, one of a dying breed, one who understands that we are at war, a war that was thrust upon us, and given his education, a war which he knows can only end with us victorious if we are to continue to prosper.
