Today we say Happy Birthday to the greatest President of the last 50 years. Ronald Reagan.
Of course it being Friday I thought that we could go back in time for this week's honoree. Being as we're celebrating Ronald Reagan's birthday, how about a nice image of a famous Hollywood Ingenue and noted Republican...Jane Russell...
Now then, this has been a bad week for me trying to keep pace with the many leftist attacks on the President and the shrill banging of the media drums in their haste to begin the campaign. How many times this week have we had to endure the dems loudly clamoring that the Iraq War was ginned up, that no WMDs have been found and that the President lied about an "Imminent Threat"? The President never said that the Iraqi's posed an imminent threat. What he did say, was that he would not wait until they DID pose an imminent threat in order to act and that he would not compromise American security and sovereignity to UN interests. If you don't like that, then certainly you are free to elect a democrat who would subordinate our interests to those of some corrupt third world organization.
Then there is the cry of, "where are the WMDs"? How in hell should I know? Intelligence is actually a game of best guess. My money says that the WMD are hidden in Iran or Syria or sold off to high bidders. What is NOT in question is that Saddam had them, Saddam used them against his enemies both foreign and domestic and that Saddam was in violation of 17 beloved UN resolutions. Sheesh....forgive me but I can't resist..this is becoming a graphics intensive day...I know we're going to hear this leftist mantra many more times in this election year so we might as well start now with the "Aw Geez" Guy...
Now then, it appearing more and more likely that John "Effing" Kerry is now the darling of the left and presumptive democrat presidential nominee, "here is a little background information on him.
