Well we all know what happened on this date 59 years ago. I can't help but think that a similar application of good ol' American know how to a place like Fallujah might not produce similar results. And if we really don't want to mess with after effects at least let's just level the place with conventional weaponry. Seeing as how the insurgents in Najaf are getting restless again, we also might reconsider our rather generous position on allowing Muqtada al-Sadr to live. Every breath he draws is a crime against the Iraqi people.

Speaking of crimes, I see Jean al-Querry's campaign is in a huff about the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth ad which questions his version of his military record. Of course Monsieur Kerry has been asked before to release his medical records and military records and he refuses. Of course the mainstream media that beat up President Bush for producing several hundred pages of his service record, gives Ketchup Boy a pass on his failure to do so. Of course the media isn't biased.

In any event, I'll have more to say on that later.
